Hanoi still retains a small-town provincial charm and unique intermingle with a French legacy wide, tree-lined boulevards, parks, grand villas and an artistic, café society followed by a boat trip cruising on the Ha Long Bay, UNESCO World Heritage Site which boasts a magnificent scenery of over 3,000 limestone islands jutting out of emerald green waters in the Gulf of Tonkin.

Afternoon you visit some of the city’s most historic sites and seeing some of it’s classic architecture including the old Presidential Palace, Vientiane’s oldest temple Wat Sisaket, with it’s thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. Back to hotel. At leisure.

In the morning you visit the Laos’s national icon, That Luang Stupa, the Patuxay Monument, Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph and the National Museum. Transfer to airport for flight to Luang Prabang, the best preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. Meet your guide at the airport for a transfer to your hotel. At leisure before start climbimg to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River. Back to hotel or you can enjoy the famous Luang Prabang night market.

In the morning you visit some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang, the stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham. Drive to the Mekong River for a boat trip upstream to visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. On the way back to Luang Prabang you have a stop at Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving. This full day tour offers you Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House-on-Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda followed by Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda originally constructed in the sixth century. Afternoon you visit the Temple of Literature then having a walk around the Sword Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a street-pub. At leisure. Evening you are free to go shopping in the night market in the Hanoi Old Quarter.

In the morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Enjoy welcome drink onboard. Check-in your cabin. The ship start cruising through the bay while lunch is served. Stop to visit and explore a fishing village by bamboo boat or you can have a kayak around this area. Next stop is the Titop Island then you are back to the junk for relax and join the cooking demonstration with the cruise chef. Enjoy dinner followed by free time for some evening entertainments: play game on the cruise: cards game, chess, karaoke, squid fishing.

Early bird with exercises with Tai chi on the sundeck then enjoy a light breakfast while cruising to the Sung Sot Cave. Time to explore one of the most beautiful cave in the Halong Bay. Return to the cruise for check out and relaxing on sundeck. Enjoy the last of the Ha Long Bay scenery over lunch as the cruise is back to shore. Rejoin car transfer back to Hanoi. At leisure.
