Day 1. Welcome to Hanoi | Overnight: Hanoi
Warm welcome upon your arrival in Hanoi. Your guide will meet you at the airport for a transfer to your hotel. At leisure. Transfer out to enjoy the water puppet show – a unique art performance in Vietnam. Back to hotel. At leisure.
Day 2. Hanoi Sightseeing | B | Overnight: Hanoi
This full day tour offers you Hanoi’s most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, House-on-Stilts and the One Pillar Pagoda followed by Quan Thanh Temple and Tran Quoc pagoda, the oldest pagoda originally constructed in the sixth century. Afternoon you visit the Temple of Literature then having a walk around the Sword Lake and visit Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a street-pub. At leisure. Evening you are free to go shopping in the night market in the Hanoi Old Quarter.
Day 3. Hanoi - Halong Bay | B - L - D | Overnight: Traditional Junk
In the morning you leave Hanoi for Halong Bay via the Red River Delta. Enjoy welcome drink onboard. Check-in your cabin. The ship start cruising through the bay while lunch is served. Stop to visit and explore a fishing village by bamboo boat or you can have a kayak around this area. Next stop is the Titop Island then you are back to the junk for relax and join the cooking demonstration with the cruise chef. Enjoy dinner followed by free time for some evening entertainments: play game on the cruise: cards game, chess, karaoke, squid fishing.
Day 4. Halong Bay – Fly to HCMC | B – L | Overnight: HCMC
Early bird with exercises with Tai chi on the sundeck then enjoy a light breakfast while cruising to the Sung Sot Cave. Time to explore one of the most beautiful cave in the Halong Bay. Return to the cruise for check out and relaxing on sundeck. Enjoy the last of the Ha Long Bay scenery over lunch as the cruise is back to shore. Transfer. Transfer to Noi Bai International for flight to HCMC. Pick up and transfer to hotel. At leisure.
Day 5. Cu Chi Tunnel & HCMC | B | Overnight: HCMC
In the morning you drive to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels. This underground complex is a must-see when you are in HCMC. You are invited to crawl around in the safer parts of the tunnel system or try a shooting range where you can fire a number of assault rifles, such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60. Back to HCMC. Afternoon you have a tour visiting some of its famous attractions such as the Reunification Palace, the Municipal Theatre, the City Post Office, the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the War Remnants Museum. Back to hotel. At leisure.
Day 6. My Tho Delta Excursion | B | Overnight: HCMC
After breakfast meet your driver and depart for the My Tho / Mekong Delta. Surrounded by thousands of crisscrossed canals, life in the Mekong Delta revolves much around the river, most of the villages are often accessible by rivers and canals rather than by road. Upon arrival you take a motor-boat to explore the Thoi Son islet. Following a village path passing local houses to visit some family-run coconut candy mills then you take a horse-cart from village to village. Visit a local family and enjoy the “Southern Vietnamese folk music”, a very common art activity in the Mekong Delta performed by local people. Rejoin your car back to HCMC. At leisure.
Day 7. Departure | B
Enjoy your free time at your hotel or do some last minute souvenir shopping before transfer to Tan Son Nhat International airport for your flight home. Have a good journey. Thanks for joining us.
